Applying PaintLab press-ons is simple and seamless. Start with clean, dry nails and gently buff the surface for better hold. Select your best-fitting sizes, apply glue or adhesive tabs, and press firmly into place. Finish with light filing or shaping if needed.

How Long Will PaintLab Press-Ons Stay On?

With proper prep and application, PaintLab press-on nails can last up to two weeks. Wear time depends on how they’re applied and how you use your hands day-to-day.

For maximum hold, we recommend using nail glue and avoiding heavy water exposure for the first few hours after application.


How Do I Remove My Press-On Nails?

Removing your press-ons should be just as gentle as applying them. Soak nails in warm, soapy water or an acetone-based remover until the adhesive softens. Slowly lift from the edges—never pull or force. Finish by nourishing nails with cuticle oil or hand cream.

Following proper removal steps helps keep natural nails healthy and ready for your next set.


Are Press-On Nails Safe for Natural Nails?

Yes. When used as directed, PaintLab press-on nails are a nail-friendly alternative to acrylics or gels. They don’t require drilling, harsh filing, or chemical processing, making them a gentler option for your natural nails.

We always recommend testing adhesives beforehand and always removing nails carefully.


Shipping Information

  • How long will it take for my order to arrive?
    We process and ship orders M-F, excluding holidays. Orders generally take 1-3 business days to ship, including orders marked for express delivery. During times of high volume, orders may take up to 4-5 business days to ship. The estimated processing times will be displayed at checkout when you select your shipping method.

    You’ll get a notification and tracking number via email when a tracking number has been created. It may take a few hours for tracking to show updates after a label has been created, depending on the carrier.

    On average, USA orders are delivered within 3-4 business days (not including processing time), sometimes sooner.

    Orders to Canada generally arrive within 5-9 business days (not including processing time) for most provinces but can take longer depending on the province. Please review our Canada-specific shipping FAQ for estimated transit times in each province.

    Orders to the United Kingdom generally arrive within 1-3 business days (not including processing time) for most countries but can take longer depending on the country. Please review our UK-specific shipping FAQ for estimated transit times for each country. While most orders will ship out of the UK, select products may ship from our US facilities which will generally arrive in 5-7 business days. Please review transit time estimates which will be displayed at checkout.

    Orders to Europe generally arrive within 5-12 business days (not including processing time) for most countries but can take longer depending on the country. Please review our EU-specific shipping FAQ for estimated transit times for each country. While most orders will ship out of the UK, select products may ship from our US facilities which will generally arrive in 9-13 business days. Please review transit time estimates which will be displayed at checkout.

  • Do you ship to other countries?
    Yes, we ship globally! Delivery times vary depending on your location, and any customs fees are the customer’s responsibility.

  • How do I track my package?
    After your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. Use this number to track your shipment on the carrier’s website.

  • When will my express order ship if I place it after 1 PM EST?
    Express orders placed after 1 PM EST will ship on the next business day. This cutoff allows us to process, pack, and ship your order with guaranteed expedited service.

  • Can I use express shipping if my order is going to a PO Box, APO/FPO/DPO, Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories?
    Unfortunately, express shipping is not available for PO boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories. These locations require special handling and delivery services, so only standard shipping options are available.


 

Returns & Exchanges

  • What is your return policy?
    Contact us (please include your order number) within 10 days of receiving your order, and we'll help you out ASAP with any returns and additional questions. If you placed an order through a retailer, please reach out to that retailer for answers.

    Please note that we reserve the right to refuse or limit refunds if we determine our refund policy is being abused.

  • What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
    If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please email us at support@paintlabbeauty.com with your order number and photos. We’ll resolve the issue quickly.

  • How do I find the right size for press-on nails?
    Each set includes 15 nail sizes to suit most nail shapes. Check out our sizing guide here for a perfect fit.

  • How long do your press-on nails stay on?
    When applied properly, our press-on nails can last up to 14 days. Be sure your nails are clean and dry before application for the best results.

  • Does each set include nail glue?
    Yes! Every set comes with nail glue and easy-to-follow application instructions. You can also buy extra glue from our website if needed.

  • What should I do if a nail chips or comes off?
    If a nail chips, gently file it to smooth the edge. For nails that come off, simply reapply with the included glue or use an extra nail from your kit.


 

Order Questions

  • Can I cancel or change an order?
    Our fulfillment center begins processing orders quickly so we aren’t able to accommodate changes to most orders. Please contact us immediately with your order info and we will do our best to address your cancellation request, but cannot guarantee any changes can be made after an order is placed. During times of high order volume we are unable to cancel or edit orders. We are not responsible for any address errors or order delays after your package leaves our facility.

  • Can I combine my promo code with other discounts or apply it to past orders?
    Promo codes cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts, and they can’t be applied to previous purchases. This ensures all customers receive the same fair and consistent pricing during active promotions.
  • Does my promo code work on gift cards or gift wrap?
    Promo codes do not apply to gift cards or gift wrap. These items are excluded since they are non-discountable services and not part of our product assortment.
  • How do I apply my promo code online?
